Choosing a Dual-Action Polisher for Your Car

Start with working area rather than motor wattage. A machine supplied with a smaller backing plate may be useful for tighter areas; a longer-throw model offers a different configuration for larger panels. Neither feature alone establishes which machine will produce the best finish.

The DAS-6 PRO v2 lists 75mm and 125mm plates. The PRO Plus V2 lists 125mm and 150mm plates. Meguiar’s MT320 lists a 5-inch plate. Compare the complete package before buying extra equipment.

The selected Meguiar’s Amazon option is MT320ULTKIT, an Ultimate Kit rather than the bare machine. Its contents bullet lists a 5-inch backing plate, cutting, polishing and finishing discs, kit bag, microfibre triple pack and MT320. The title additionally names Ultimate Compound, Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Liquid Wax; bottle volumes are not established.
